With over seventeen years of experience working with individuals, couples and families I have successfully helped many clients with complex issues that negatively impact their lives and their families in significant ways. This is why I believe in treating clients holistically (mind, body and spirit). I also believe the work clients do outside of therapy is as important as the work they do in session, so helping clients develop skills and providing resources that will support and help them make lasting change is a priority.
I have unique experience working with clients on a variety of difficult issues such as sexual abuse, traumatic experiences, and complex family dynamics. I also work with parents and families who are experiencing a great deal of frustration, helplessness and hopelessness. I know what they need and can help them.
Being bilingual and bicultural, I am able to provide therapy that is culturally sensitive and competent, as well as work specifically with individuals, couples and families where there may be language barriers between spouses and/or parents and their children, where one person speak primarily Chinese while the other speak primarily English.
